A Letter from the Mayor

by | Nov 14, 2016

Ms. Keen –

One of my greatest privileges as mayor is to be able to show gratitude on behalf of the citizens of Jacksonville to individuals, businesses and organizations performing great deeds throughout our city. With the mission to “unravel the effects of the sex trade,” Rethreaded is positively impacting our community by providing safe and supportive employment opportunities to survivors of human trafficking. Through your innovative and caring approach, you are bringing hope and healing to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Molly is a longtime advocate for Rethreaded and loves volunteering. Seeing the abundance of enthusiasm she has when sharing information about your nonprofit organization is another signifier of the quality of work being performed. Thank you for all that you do.

In honor of your work, it is my great pleasure to offer you tickets to enjoy the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Military Appreciation game, Sunday, Nov. 13, at 1 p.m., from the City’s suite. It is my hope that members of the Rethreaded family will have a memorable game-day experience.

Sincerely,

Mayor Lenny Curry

Thank you, Mayor Curry and First Lady Molly! Your support and advocacy propel Rethreaded forward! We are so lucky to be wrapped around such a great community with amazing leaders! Thank you for the incredible game-day experience, a first for many of the Rethreaded staff!
