As Rethreaded enters its teen years with 13 journeys around the sun, we are thrilled to announce a new product line to add to our shop! The production department at Rethreaded have been hard at work crafting new products for your home and the Gifts of Hope Collection. Carrying a theme as vibrant and beautiful as our survivors, we’ve lovingly created this product line, For Home, For Fun, For Life.
This product line was a seven-month journey from the initial spark of an idea through multiple design revisions to final completion. We are incredibly proud of our team’s hard work, dedication, and creativity and are excited to share it with the world. We know you’ll love these products as much as we do.
Never a Dull Moment, or Color For That Matter
At Rethreaded, we strive to bring joy and celebration into everything we do. Whether it’s creating moments in the kitchen of laughter and triumph or breathing life into a new painting technique, our ladies seek to manifest joy everywhere they go. Of course, a significant part of fulfilling our purpose is finding joy in our work. Sometimes, you have to work and choose joy; other times, you can’t help but experience the laughter and good vibes of those around you.
One way we found joy in creating these new products is by developing two new playful painting techniques that add brilliant color and vibrancy to several of the products.
Our survivors shared beautiful laughter together over these creative painting techniques, which brought about wonderfully unique designs. Each hand-painted piece tells its own story of beauty, time, and hope. They’re fun, whimsical, bold, and strong. The life and love contained within each one-of-a-kind gift is a beautiful representation of the hands that made it.
You see, we are not just about creating products but about rethreading lives. These new items we offer represent who we are and what we do. Each gift is designed to bring joy and life, even if it’s in a small, happy way.
Celebrating Life Repurposed
Celebrating each moment requires a unique perspective that sees the potential in all things. As our production team designed and created stunning new products, they expressed that perspective through vibrant colors, beautiful designs, and new life into old products. With innovative techniques, beautiful handiwork, and incredible talent, these amazing women created some of the most unique and thoughtful designs we’ve ever seen.
This creative upcycling shows how everything can be given new life and new purpose when it’s given the proper time and care.
Assistant Production Manager Letisha Feazell designed the new ottoman, a stunning and one-of-a-kind piece. This product is more than just a place to rest your feet; it’s a work of art. Letisha’s design incorporates repurposing t-shirt waste from our fabric dog toys into stuffing materials for cushioning.
Letisha’s intentional design and use of repurposed materials beautifully represent Rethreaded’s core beliefs and values. The pieces within this collection are truly special, created by survivors, and thoughtfully curated.
Everyone and The Dog Are Included
The Rethreaded designers certainly did not forget the fuzzy four-legged members of the family. Our production team is proud to present the survivor-designed and developed new dog bone pull toys made by our Manufacturing Specialist. These adorable additions to the Rethreaded line are made with ethically sourced wool fiber felt, which feels soft on your pup’s teeth and encourages appropriate chewing. Our Manufacturing Specialist was so proud of the finished product and is thrilled to share her design with your family’s best friend.
Growing Our Skills Together – All-Hands-On-Deck
Nothing at Rethreaded is accomplished without a full-scale team effort. From learning the new painting technique to developing the latest products, everyone had an important part to play. Although several products allowed our newest production members to broaden their skills, they didn’t shy away from the hard work. The ladies stepped up to the plate and took on their tasks with enthusiasm and great spirits. We loved watching them work so hard to create these beautiful and vivacious products.
