Jacksonville Community Supports Local Nonprofit Rethreaded’s Biggest Fundraising Event

by | Mar 16, 2022

We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout from the Jacksonville community at our 11th annual Mukti Freedom Gala. This year we reached our donation goal with the support of the community. It has helped us continue to expand our mission to employ, train, and release potential for 500 local survivors of human trafficking by 2031.

“We are grateful for everyone who volunteered and participated in the Mukti Freedom Gala this year,” said Kristin Keen, Founder, and CEO of Rethreaded. “Because of the generosity from the  Jacksonville community, volunteers, sponsors, and donors we will be able to provide more than we could have ever imagined for women who enter our survivor program.”

The Mukti Gala 2022 began with a champagne welcome and an educational slide show for guests to learn more about human trafficking and the stories surrounding Steel Resolve. Throughout the evening there were raffles, live and silent auctions, shopping, and opportunities to donate to Rethreaded’s survivor program.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this event’s success!

A special thank you to our Presenting Sponsor: Jaguars Foundation, our Celebrate Freedom Sponsors: Chase, Atlantic Self Storage, VyStar Credit Union, MasterCraft Builder Group, UPS, our Celebrate Hope Sponsors: Suddath, J. David Tax Law, Riverside Homes, kasper architects + associates, Heritage Capital Group, Natural Look Medical Spa, Black Knight, and our AV sponsor Sight & Sound Productions.
