Rethreaded’s 9th (Virtual) Birthday Party Was a Huge Success!

by | Aug 10, 2020

August 1-9, 2020, was a week to remember! If you have followed Rethreaded for a while, you know that our annual birthday party just keeps growing year after year. We always look forward to ringing in another year with everyone. With COVID-19 still present in our city, we knew a giant birthday bash was not a safe or viable option. Choosing to move our festivities online was not an easy choice, but we are so blown away by the support we have received!

Community First Credit Union stood by our side in order to make this virtual event possible. They offered to be our event sponsor before COVID hit, and continued to support us when we switched our celebration from a big in-person party to a virtual gathering. We are grateful to this amazing organization for stepping in and supporting our mission and propelling us forward.

Riverside Homes graciously donated a $30,000 match to help us raise money for our seven new employees as well as continued support for our entire staff. Thanks to this donation match, we were able to exceed our $30,000 goal to help change the lives of human trafficking survivors!

Our supporters did not let the virtual format stop them from shopping our new products (The Padfolio and The Seer seem to be the most popular!) and sharing our posts last week! Over 250 of you shared our birthday posts on Facebook and over FIVE THOUSAND of you watched our virtual party on August 6. Not to mention, the 14 hours of freedom donated just this week.

We want to thank everyone who donated, shopped, and shared Rethreaded’s mission last week when we asked for your support. You help us continue to achieve our dreams and we cannot thank you enough!

Shop our new collection here and donate an Hour of Freedom to receive free shipping on your entire order!

A special thanks to all the businesses that donated during our birthday week: Atlantic Trust Mortgage, Lindsey Pest Services,Champion Roofing Services, College Hunks Moving, Gateway Business Advisors and Kajima Building & Design Group, Inc.

Last but not least, thank you to all the individuals that donated during our birthday week:
