Intentional Moments

Positive feedback constructively tells people where they stand. It also motivates. But it is too easy, in the rush of meeting deadlines and achieving goals, to let praise and positivity fall by the wayside. 

As leaders, we must celebrate wins and progress, no matter how small. The challenge is finding the time and place to do it successfully.

At Buzzsprout, leadership intentionally schedules company-wide celebrations every six weeks. This coincides with their project management structure and acts as a sort of “scheduled encouragement.” It builds celebration right into their workflow.

Rethreaded takes this encouragement to another level. That’s because here at Rethreaded a “win” is far more personal than at your average business. Here we celebrate “life wins” not just “business wins.” 

Thankful Thursdays

To that end, we incorporate community building into our daily and weekly schedule. From our daily devotions to themed days, we try to stay mindful of accomplishments as they happen. 

Case in point: Thankful Thursdays. It’s a chance for us to pause during our Thursday devotional to remember the gifts we have, the things we are most thankful for. And because it happens every week, we are never far from encouragement and positivity that gratitude brings.
